Day 12 Namsen - Geiranger Fjord

I almost expected it, I kept hearing crunchy noises and strange guttural sounds at night. Now I know what it was, it was trolls, I was even able to take a picture of one today.

People, how should I say it, one of my longings was always to see this Geiranger Fjord live.

But the landscape on the way there left me speechless. On this journey, the journey itself is truly the goal.

I drove up snow-covered mountains over 1000m above sea level, and I passed several national parks. In the area around Dombas, there is a herd of 220 wild musk oxen. I am constantly amazed with my mouth open at this massive demonstration of our nature.

Maybe my plan will work out and tomorrow I can take the ferry through the most spectacular part of the fjord. Where the rock walls rise up on both sides and make the ships look like toys.

Anyway, right now I'm sitting in a small heated cabin right on the fjord, writing my blog. Thanks to the rediscovered WiFi.
