The interior of our micro camper has received some additional tuning. First, we now have a wine bottle holder, because with a glass a day, it takes me several days to empty the bottle. But where do I put the opened, half-full bottle? Zappa quickly came up with a solution and the holder is ready!
In addition, even after five days of traveling, I still haven't found a place for my socks. At times, I have three pairs and a pair of thick socks in use because I can't find the ones I've used. And if my hero hides an individual sock, my chaos is complete and my world is in complete disarray.
After much moaning and evening grumbling about where to store my phone when I'm already in bed, Zappa constructs two sideboards out of an original Lidl melon box above our heads. Now our belongings can be stored up there before falling asleep, including my socks.
Unfortunately, during the wild Twingo ride over mountains, bumps and rocks, they fall in all directions and are not found again.
So my sideboard gets an additional railing!
Incredible! How my camper life has changed because of it! I can find all of my socks with one grasp, my phone is there warm and dry, and the stupid, useless alarm clock no longer flies through the motorhome - especially since it has lost the Braunschweig atomic time and has not yet found a new one...
Zappa's long legs have a few centimeters too much for the lying surface, and so that his feet don't dangle in the air at night, he pushes his painting board under the mattress as an extension, and the bed is long enough.
