A day of rest

Today we had our day of rest at last. We started the day with the curtains open watching the sun rise over the mountains and fruit trees. 

We had a leisurely start then walked in to the local village of Ginestar. We found bread, beer, eggs and a cafe. The electrics left something to be desired. Then it was home for lunch, cards and a doze. It was so hot we had to sit in the shade. Lovely! 

We are now sitting in a bar in the village for an evening drink before a tea of pasta. A perfect retirement day.
