I had never even really heard of Antibes prior to my Euro trip, but boy I am so happy that I got to see this place. A small, but truly picturesque Mediterranean city that would capture anyone's eye if they went. This trip was only a few hours, but it didn't take long for me to realize how special this little place is. 

Just a short train ride away from Nice & Cannes, Antibes is a wonderful blend of history and natural beauty. Walking along the wall on the coast brings back strong memories, from seeing the luxury boats on one side to the beautiful beaches on the other. The scenery made the post-walk Aperol hit even harder. 

Seeing all these people relaxing and enjoying themselves on their massive boats really makes me want to become rich. Life looks like a dream on a yacht in the south of France. Maybe one day I'll have that life. But even without the yacht, spending an afternoon wandering through Antibes reminded me that some of the best travel moments aren't about luxury at all. They're about stumbling across places you never planned to love and leaving with memories that stick with you long after you've gone home.
