The travel diary counts the 40th day of my journey. I am currently on a short stopover in Vangvieng before continuing to Luang Prabang. Since I don't like the city, I want to take the opportunity for some statistics :)

Visited UNESCO World Heritage Sites: 3x (Angkor Wat/Preah Vihear Temple/Luang Prabang, Old Town)

Tallest waterfall: 220m (Tad Fan)

Deepest cave: 6,300m (Konglor Cave)

Highest elevation: 1,900m above sea level (mountain pass between Vang Vieng and Luang Prabang)

Most expensive beer: €7.50 (Rooftop Bar Above Eleven, Bangkok)

Lost items: 1x neck pillow :(
