Hello everyone,
Today we had another change of accommodation planned, and it was Mama's last day in Thailand.
We woke up comfortably, had breakfast, and sat on the terrace chatting for a while. Our host arrived promptly at 12 o'clock, quickly checked the accommodation, and thanked us several times. After a few more words with him, we finally set off. For the last night, we decided to go to the Micky Monkey Beach Hotel. Kevin and I have been there before and were very satisfied. It is also quite close to the airport and has a beautiful beach. Once we arrived there, we booked a bungalow for my mom, and Kevin and I set up a tent. Now we can cross that off our to-do list :).
We spent the afternoon at the beautiful beach with practically no other tourists. It was really relaxing!
Actually, we wanted to go to the famous beach where the planes land so low... The problem: hardly any planes are landing right now! And the ones that did, flew over the inland to approach the runway... Well, let it be - just lying around was also pretty cool :).
In the evening, we had dinner at our hotel right on the beach, and we sipped on a Schlummi (Mojito) :).
Tomorrow, we will take my mom to the airport and then continue to the immigration office in Phuket. We read that, due to the current situation, we need a letter from the embassy to extend the visa... Hopefully, that's not true! Plan B with Laos has also fallen through today because the flight we had booked was canceled. Currently, no one can enter Laos... Oh well, folks... Please keep your fingers crossed that it will work out at the embassy tomorrow! Otherwise, things are starting to look grim...
Tomorrow we will, of course, inform you about the current situation again ;).
But for today, we try not to let our spirits be dampened and enjoy the last evening together in Thailand.
Take care and see you later!
Regarding the pictures: they will follow tomorrow ;)
