From Oslo, we headed towards Copenhagen on the same evening. Since we were both tired from walking around so much, we soon looked for a place to sleep. We decided on a small parking lot in the middle of a forest where there were also other abandoned cars. I kept trying to make myself comfortable in the camper with my book, but somehow the atmosphere was eerie. The wind was whistling through the trees and I kept wondering where the people from the empty cars had gone. 😦 Perhaps it would be better if I didn't read one thriller after another!!! 😅
In the middle of the night, Fabian saved us by taking us to a rest area where other campers were sleeping. ☺️
Before we headed to Copenhagen on Tuesday, we took a break at a campground in Sweden. From the highway, Sweden doesn't look any different from Denmark or Norway, but the stretch from the highway to the campground was beautiful!! One beautiful house followed another and there were huge fields in between. 🐄🦌
On Tuesday morning, we drove into the city of Copenhagen by car, which was a breeze traffic-wise. We had perfect weather as always. 25 degrees and sunshine. 🌞
We strolled through the shopping streets and admired the beautiful buildings. We kept coming across food halls where many small shops sold their food. But the prices were really outrageous!! My small pizza cost about 18 francs, but Fabian's beer cost almost 12 francs!! 🍺
All in all, Copenhagen is really beautiful and worth a visit. 🙂
On our way towards Hamburg, we drove over an endlessly long bridge from Korsør to Nyborg. Since it was around 10:30 pm and the sun was setting, the evening sky seemed to vanish into the sea. Everything around us was just deep blue - a beautiful moment!! 😍
