Day trip to Strasbourg in July 2017

Actually, the day trip to Strasbourg was not a real 'vacation'. However, I liked the little town so much that I think it's definitely worth writing about here :)

We are only about 2 hours away from Strasbourg, which is definitely worth a day trip if you leave early enough. You can park at the shopping center. You just have to buy something afterwards.

The highlights of Strasbourg are: well, Strasbourg itself :D

We climbed the 330 steps to the church tower, which admittedly was a bit exhausting because you get really dizzy in the narrow tower after a short time. But the view from above was definitely worth it.

Otherwise, Strasbourg is simply a worth seeing city with its cute little houses, which are dotted here and there with canals.

You can treat yourself to a delicious Flammkuchen at the end of the day ;)
