The day of departure

We have decided to take a step in life that was not easy for me at first. China was not necessarily the country I wanted to live in for a while. However, after having been to Xiamen twice for 2 weeks each and seeing everything, I was sure that I could live here for a while.

The decision has been made: we will spend the next phase of our lives in Xiamen, China, for the next two years.

We will fly on August 14, 2016, at 14:20 from Frankfurt Airport with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines to Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam (Netherlands). The flight lasts about 50 minutes.

Upon arrival in Amsterdam, after a 1 ½ hour layover, we will fly directly to Xiamen (China) at 17:10 with KLM.

Our flight lasts about 10.25 hours. After arrival in Xiamen on August 15, 2016, at 10:25 local time (04:25 for us), we were initially accommodated in the hotel.
