North Carolina - Blue Ridge Parkway

The Blue Ridge Parkway is a scenic road that runs directly past the town of Boone. It leads along the Blue Ridge Mountains - part of the Appalachian Mountains. In total, the road is 755 km long and connects Shenandoah National Park in Virginia with the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
