Continuation of the journey to Penang – or: what exactly is a Jetty? :O ^^ (Day 126 of the World Tour)

Even the second night in Kuala Lumpur was so good that I woke up right before the alarm without feeling tired ;-)

We enjoyed the free breakfast one more time, packed everything up, and then called for a taxi to TBS via the reception, a huge bus station in the south of Kuala Lumpur. Actually, it’s only about 8 km away, but even though our bus was supposed to leave at 10:00, I insisted that we leave the hostel at the latest by 8:30 :D :D

I was a bit “afraid” of the rush hour, as we would go right into it at that time :O

When the taxi arrived and we got on the highway, my suspicion was confirmed – only it applied to the opposite direction ;-)

To drive into the city center, you need a lot of patience, and the bus was completely full, so people had to press against the windows… We drove for minutes along the traffic jam in the opposite direction and after an exit, we got stuck in the crawl traffic due to construction work.

I apologized to Jonas for my excessive caution, but at least we arrived at the bus station after half an hour, which allowed us to have some buffer time :)
