The Batu Caves and Kuala Lumpur

Publié: 24.02.2018

Yeah, the first pictures are from the Batu Cave at the northern end of Kuala Lumpur. It's a sacred place for Hindus and it's really impressive to see. A huge open stalactite cave where many birds and bats live. If you're there at night, you can see hundreds of bats take off from their crevices and holes.

Kuala Lumpur itself is really modern. There are many beautiful skyscrapers and the infrastructure is great. The architects can create really cool things here. My hostel is a 10-minute walk (south) from the skyscrapers and the main train station, and it's a whole different world there. Compared to the rest of the country, they are already quite prosperous here, but there is rich and poor everywhere. However, the modern city, on the northern side of the train station, is really huge and I want to explore it today. Between skyscrapers and modern buildings, there are temples and all kinds of restaurants where you can eat all kinds of food 😁

In the last pictures, you can see how they work here 😂
