Tag 221 - Boat trip to James Bond Island & Co

Hello everyone

Today was a really wonderful day!
We were picked up at our accommodation at 7:10 am sharp, picked up a few more passengers along the way, and arrived at the harbor around 9 am. There was a short briefing there, the daily schedule was explained, and everyone had to sign in on a list. Our whole boat was practically full of Russians! However, there were still two Germans with us, Selina and Bernd, with whom we sat together and understood each other right away. The five of us had a really funny day and chatted about everything - mainly about traveling and different experiences.

First, we stopped at a nice spot and were allowed to swim and snorkel. Underwater, there was absolutely nothing to discover, but the cooling off was very welcome! Next stop: A small island (Hong Island) with a cave to walk through. It was really cute and pretty in a few places! From outside the cave, we saw a monkey who also seemed to enjoy the great view.

Then we went to the famous James Bond Island. We bought a few small souvenirs there, like real tourists, but they were way too expensive: earrings for Mom and an ankle bracelet for me. We walked around the island, took a few photos, and then we had to get back on the boat.

At the next stop, we started paddling. A local took over the paddling for us and led us through small caves and dreamy bays. That part was indescribably beautiful!

Lunch is on the program! Yesssss! We stopped at another island and ate at a buffet restaurant. It was surprisingly delicious! Back on the boat, we even saw dolphins!!! That was cool!

We made the last stop on another island (Rang Yai Island), this time without a program. No one was upset about not having to rush to the next attraction but just doing whatever they felt like. The three of us enjoyed a delicious drink at the bar and relaxed in the shade. An hour later, we headed back to the mainland. The return transfer also went smoothly and we were back at our lodge around 5 pm. We made ourselves comfortable outside, Kevin and I fooled around in the pool, and later we went out for dinner. Now we are sitting outside, having a glass of wine, and chatting a bit.
