Stolpe an der Peene must be cancelled

Spontaneously, I decided to stay in this peaceful wilderness of Friedland.

In the silence, I realize just how broken I actually am.

Six months of "Keasy" have left me burned out. My colleague Steffi aptly refers to the new program as the - Burnout Program-.

However, here at the Pasterhof, I can recharge and sort out my thoughts. It could happen that I step on a hedgehog 🦔 when getting out of the hammock. That almost happened to me yesterday.

I slept, almost like an elephant 🐘. On my side, with a stacked pillow, and uninterrupted.

The best thing about waking up here is that the rooster 🐔 crows and the smell of coffee ☕️ fills the air simultaneously. It couldn't be better.

Although I also enjoyed the smell of manure and slurry while passing through the villages. No, seriously. It reminded me of my childhood on farms. And that was a very beautiful and carefree time. I feel just as good when I drive over cobblestones. 😚 Everything automatically slows down. Just like here in Friedland. In every village, the streets are still paved with cobblestones. Speed limits are unnecessary. Maybe we should also reintroduce this type of construction in relation to sustainability?

No flooding, as the water would seep away, and road construction would be settled for the next 100 years. 😏

Actually, I was supposed to be at an estate in Stolpe on the Peene today. For an unbeatable price of €140 with breakfast. Normally, a room there costs starting from €239. So it was a bargain. 😅 However, I can reschedule and will just go there another time. Postponed is not canceled.

Today, I am driving to the swimming lake. It’s supposed to get even hotter, and I don't have to prove anything anymore.

Thank God, there's even a nudist area in miniature. On 30 m2, there are three older gentlemen and now three, well, older ladies with me. 😆

The conversations provide very intimate insights into people's lives.

I stay silent and listen attentively. Until I notice that one of the older gentlemen must have been in the water for a long time. I worry and voice my concern. Oh, that's Walter; he always swims for a long time. And indeed, after 1 hour and 30 minutes, he comes back relaxed on land.

Life in the countryside does hold some surprises. 😜
