Friedland, where everything is so peaceful

Unfortunately, I am breaking my promise.

Without being able to respond, I am served a plate of sausage - freshly slaughtered - for breakfast. It is a very small plate, but that probably doesn’t matter.

I must admit, this is the best breakfast I have been served so far. So, not just the sausage. Everything is fresh and homemade. There is also no buffet, which I appreciate from an environmental standpoint.

The concept aligns more with that of a star chef, as he runs this 'Old School'. I, of course, overlooked that during the booking. Tonight, there will be a six-course meal, but I won't be here by then.🥹

Today, I'm heading to Friedland. 40 km. I will first drive there by car, not wanting to tempt fate with the call bus a second time.
