Well, it depends on your fitness; it's still 264 steps.

All I wanted was to go hiking in Mallorca.
Upon arriving at BER, the security check is once again full of surprises.
I'm wearing my latest acquisition on my feet: hiking boots.
It seems they must be thoroughly inspected by the security personnel.
I have to sit down and lift my legs so they can be checked underneath. Very athletic, says the staff. I'm currently in boat position. 🧘♀️ 😬
The lady remains skeptical, and I actually have to take off my shoes to have them scanned. I just hope the radiation exposure isn't too high.😬
Everything is okay, I can get dressed again down below. 🤭
At that moment, the announcement comes: “Whose backpack with the colorful elephant is this?” I timidly raise my hand. What’s next?
“We will now search your backpack for drugs.”
… okay. 🙄 Let me quickly think, when was the last time I was out and about as a drug dealer? 🤔
The drugs have taken effect… I can't remember.
Nope, everything went fine. They let me through. Phew.😅
I arrive punctually in Palma. But now comes the next challenge.
Picking up a rental car… without letting myself be pressured into anything. 🙏🏼
It was really tough at the limit. My English isn’t the best. My mantra: I don't buy anything further.
The seller, however, is hardly interested. He tries in German, Spanish, English… No chance. I remain persistent.
So annoying. Really. I've already booked a full coverage insurance without deductible. … it’s just advertising, he says. NO, that’s my contract. 🙄
In the end, I have to find my car in the parking deck by myself and figure it out anyway.
The next challenge… I have no internet, which means: no idea how to get to my accommodation.
Well, I’m an 80s child and grew up without the internet.
I have faith in my abilities and follow the signs.
It’s all quite easy, once you allow yourself to embrace it.😏🙏🏼🫶
