Airport BER - Drug dealer uncovered
Binissalem

Wow… I slept like a log. No wonder… being a drug dealer can make life quite exciting.😏
Fortunately, the breakfast is regional, meaning you eat local specialties. That's exactly why I travel.
Connections are quickly made. Single women… the majority.
I decide to start today from Santa Maria.
As soon as I arrive, I find Komoot a bit confusing, so I choose to follow my intuition. Turns out that's the right choice.
The weather could not be better. I had explicitly wished for no beach weather beforehand. Silke then wishes me “lots of fun and bad weather.” Nope, I don’t want that either.
The hiking trail towards Orient to the Tramuntana Mountains is amazing.
It's so beautiful, I could cry. And I do🥹. I’m all alone and don’t run into anyone.🐷 Well, a few goats, horses, and… Kerstin.
The only person on this godforsaken hiking path seems to be a soulmate. We talk for about 10 minutes.
She has lived here since 1999 and originally comes from Frankfurt am Main. We exchange numbers and plan to go out to eat together soon.
Onward to the waterfall. It’s supposed to be very beautiful, but also quite far away. I'm feeling good right now. No blisters on my feet, no hunger, no thirst, everything's fine.
I now encounter Pina, the goat. The man, a German, lives here and found her as a newborn with an umbilical cord in the woods and raised her with a bottle. Since then, she's been like a family member. And yes, it’s extraordinary to see how she dances around him. Almost like a dog, but a goat. Totally adorable.🫶
I have been on the road for 3 hours now. I have to start making my way back without having seen the waterfall.
Around 6:00 PM, I reach Santa Maria and settle down in a café for some delicious cake and coffee.
How quickly one falls into vacation mode. 🥰
