Phnom Penh in the Rain

In the middle of the night, we wake up to the sound of rain. Looking from the balcony, we see that the streets are flooded. Some Bemo drivers are struggling to push their vehicles into the slightly shallower middle of the street and eventually to safety. In the morning, the extent of the situation reveals itself at the hotel door: Various vehicles are submerged, and the owner of the neighboring restaurant is attempting to clear the blocked drainage. Some take it with humor.
