4th Day

Barcelona makes our farewell a little easier - at least when it comes to the weather. So we will explore Park Guell under cloudy skies. We took the adventurous taxi ride up the hill - which upset one of our travel companions stomach.

Despite the not so good weather, there were a lot of people waiting to get in. An online ticket would have been useful; it was still quite fast without one. The complex is very beautiful, and there is almost always a view over the city down to the port. There were plans for residential buildings and a market up here. At that time, there weren't many buyers for this location and today it is unfortunately no longer possible to live there. The weather improved and we walked back down the hill to the hotel. It took us about 1 hour. The nice walk also led us to two market halls, which made me very happy. Once we arrived at the hotel, it was already time to take a taxi to the airport. We bought some snacks and memories of this trip; then we were already on our way back to Frankfurt.

It was a wonderful trip that all three of us enjoyed.

P.s.  I built a small stone figure on the beach in Barcelona; I always do that when I want to visit this place again.
