1st Day

Start in Frankfurt in fog at 9:40 am

Arrival in Barcelona in sunshine at 12:10 pm

Took a taxi to Pestana Hotel - quick and cheaper than in Germany. After checking in, everything was taken to the rooms (we have the luxury of two double rooms with connecting door for 3 people) and then to the old Arena. Beautifully preserved building, which now houses a shopping center inside. Everything is available - supermarket and gastronomy in the basement; above it, there is an impressive architecture and lots of shops that can be found all over the world. There is also an escalator to the roof. The view from up there is worth seeing. And up there, lunch awaits locals who are now on their lunch break.

Strengthened, then uphill to the Placa Espanya to Montjuic and the Palace de Montjuic. For knees, feet, and people who don't like climbing stairs, there are escalators up to the top. Then Barcelona lies at the feet of the people up here. Fantastic.
