The beautiful beach, the promenade, and the dunes. The beach of Katwijk is considered one of the cleanest in the Netherlands, characterized by typical beach huts and cozy beach pavilions.
AndreaskerkThe Andreaskerk (also: Old Church) is a late Gothic Protestant Reformed parish church in Katwijk aan Zee, which, until the Reformation, was dedicated to the Apostle Andrew, built as a cruciform church after 1461. In 1572, the church was set on fire by Spanish troops during the Eighty Years' War. It was not until 1709 that the church was completely restored.

At several locations along the Katwijk Boulevard, sculptures by various artists can be seen. 

The bronze sculpture “Maatjes” (also known as “Haringhappers”) installed in the dunes of Katwijk aan Zee was created by the Dutch sculptor Gerard Brouwer.

It was placed where the lifeboat used to be brought to the beach.

Between Katwijk and Noordwijk once stood a Roman border fortress. Between the 15th and 17th centuries, the ruins could be seen at low tide. In 1752, the remains were finally swallowed by the sea. This sculpture by the sculptor Nicolas Dings from 2010 commemorates this ancient fortress at the northern border of the Roman Empire.
