Olberg and Mister Elches
Two days just for a break. We somehow needed it! We spontaneously decided to take a phone break and since we liked the peaceful camping, we stayed for a day. The camping is on a...

Naja… The excitement has lessened a bit for us.
Finding a campsite turned out to be a bit more difficult than expected. Everywhere we could have booked spontaneously gave us a real sense of freedom. In Stockholm it looked a bit different. Lexi had written to a campsite and received a confirmation. We drove there, and upon arrival, Sue already felt uncomfortable. Only when Lexi mentioned it, it made a sound like ‘clash’ and she noticed it too. (Maybe you know this from How I Met Your Mother🙈- suddenly you see Mrs. too)
We’re not too picky… we really brought the calm of Norway with us, but there were definitely very drunk people living there permanently. The guy across from us obviously had his friends over, one after another they sat down in a row on chairs in front of him, a few meters away from us, and they watched us with beer in tight shorts and top-less. Sketchy figures. Can’t say nicer than that🤯 everywhere there were wrecked cars, trash, and other junk. Neither we nor the dogs felt comfortable there. We barely stayed for 45 minutes, found a new spot - thanks to whoever at the campsite who made sure it was available🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
Before the next camping, Lexi had to drive to a store to buy wine. They both needed that after the scare. It’s a bit difficult in Norway and Sweden when you want to buy alcoholic beverages. Found it, bought it, and continued hoping for a better campsite. And it definitely was!
We spent 3 days here, took an Uber to the city, looked at the beautiful old town Gamla Stan, watched the changing of the guard at the palace of Stockholm. At noon, around 2 PM, we had pizza overlooking the rooftops of Stockholm - yes, it was incredibly hot!!!🤯 but still delicious.
On the second day, we went to the city very early with Uber and visited the Drottningholm Palace with the huge gardens of Queen Sylvia and Gustav. Queen Sylvia has a lot about the castle🤩🤯 let me inform you if you’re interested. We found it very impressive - in contrast to other queens and so on🙄
Tired from the dogs, and all of us, we went back to the campsite to hang out a bit. Oh nice directly on a lake.
Sue had Swedish princess cake for the first time😜
