We are constantly amazed at our weather luck, as the day before it had stormed in Melbourne and rained heavily. The day started with a boat trip on the Yarra River through Melbourne, where we could admire the skyline of the Royal Botanic Gardens from a unique and completely different perspective. After that, we strolled through the city and treated ourselves to a coffee stop, sharing a Nutella Berliner that surely contained as many calories as our daily lunch. Upon returning to the harbor, we grabbed our e-bikes and rode along the coast with our guide. We dove into the rich heritage of Port Melbourne and enjoyed expansive views of iconic places like Westgate Bridge, Newport Power Station, and Williamstown, with Princess Pier being the focal point. There, I spotted a little penguin hiding behind two boulders. These are always the unexpectedly beautiful experiences we have with wildlife. At dinner, we enjoyed the sunset alongside the unique skyline of Melbourne. On March 20, we will be in Adelaide where the next adventure awaits.
