Puerto Montt: beautiful 20 degrees
Departure at 9 AM on the tender boat. After a one-hour journey, we reach the Petrohué waterfalls; well, for those who know the Rhine Falls, this is really just the little brother, but the flora was stunning, it is summer in Chile now. On the way, we marveled at the many agricultural farms, as this is a very fertile area with plenty of rain. Other sources of income include salmon farming, eucalyptus, and of course, tourism. We were very lucky with the weather, yes when ANGELS travel........... Next, we continued to the Osorno Volcano; we've never seen such narrow roads, at times it was just a matter of millimeters when two buses crossed each other. The view at the top was simply breathtaking. Now we were hungry; we were able to enjoy a fine lunch by the nearby lake, the salmon was exquisite. Continuing on to the Rose City of Puerto Varas, unfortunately, we couldn't disembark because the ship received a report that there was an accident on the highway, and we would be late getting back on the ship; well, we were still one hour late just like many others. The ship departed two hours later. We are always amazed at what we get to experience on our travels. Tomorrow we will dock in Valparaiso and travel to Santiago de Chile........... So goodbye until tomorrow
