Suva on the island of Viti Levu, Fiji.
This means green hills, tropical rainforests, bays, and swamp areas with mangroves.
Fiji, independent since 1970, has about 900,000 inhabitants with the capital Suva, which has around 300,000 people.
Here too, the old culture and tradition dominate with the Kava ritual, featuring dances that tell stories and also the ritual drink Kava.
Our focus here is on the tropical rainforest, a partly very wild ride with a longboat through rapids (sometimes in pouring rain but at 28° C) aiming for the largest waterfall, the Magic Waterfall of Navuas.
