Verona days eight and nine

It's cool and overcast, desk weather. So after diligently completing my homework, I finally get to do some reading.

Tuesday: another 'work day'

After class, I have lunch with this wonderful Russian-Jewish-American woman - talking to her is just as stimulating as the morning class. I can't quite put my finger on what makes her so likable, whether it's her empathetic modesty or the ease with which, despite being 76 years old, she leaves her comfort zone in Boston to live in Italy for three months.
