11.07.2019: German past in Qingdao

Until 1919, Qingdao was a German colony for 20 years. Some German legacies can still be seen, like some churches or buildings from that time. We visited them during the full-day city tour. However, the city is not really a must-see. German tourists cannot miss the visit to the Tsingtao Brewery. Originally, the colonial masters brewed beer here according to the German Purity Law. Nowadays, it is mixed with rice and diluted according to Chinese taste.
