That it wasn’t raining was certainly a help! I got dressed, grabbed a bottle of water, a can of sparkling wine, my cigarettes, and two cereal bars, and I got into the car with my aging poodle lady Pipa. I had run the path from Schleitheim to Beggingen many times already. That's why I wanted to skip this part. And that 5-minute drive made me sentimental. I drove past the bike path where we used to ride together as five from Beggingen to Schleitheim to the swimming pool. During breaks, we smelled the blooming rapeseed. Enja was still under a year old and sat behind me in her seat on the bike. Ronja and Ramona already rode independently on their children's bikes. A family outing, so simple and normal. It’s the little things in life that bring happiness. Feeling connectedness, beauty, and love in the moment; that’s what counts. I continued driving past our old home. Instantly, I vividly recalled how we lived back then and what unfolded within our family of five. The children laughing on the trampoline, Thomas working in front of the house, and me planting flowers outside.</p><p>However, since I had never walked up the Randen on foot, I had to (unfortunately) leave the car in the village and tackle the ascent on the road. I can walk forever if the path does not go uphill. But I hate walking

Once at the top, we walked towards Schwedenschanze. The path was longer than I remembered. At the top, one is rewarded with a fantastic view! I sat down for a moment and absorbed the magical moment, indulging in a cigarette and moved on after 5 minutes toward Hagenturm. This one was not so easy to find. So far, I hadn't seen a single Jacob's shell. But luckily, there’s Google Maps. The path was dreamy; I didn’t meet a single person that day while walking. The Camino gives you what you need! For the first time, I truly felt that sentence. I needed silence, no people around me. Sometimes I had really philosophical thoughts like: Many people believe in reincarnation. But what if you always encounter yourself in your life? Assuming that time and space don’t matter. That everything that lives is
