Denmark - Aarhus & Strand

Published: 29.09.2020

In Denmark, Copenhagen should actually be visited. But unfortunately, due to Corona, that's not possible for us. So Copenhagen was cancelled. We decided to explore the Baltic coast a bit and get to know the cities of Aarhus and Horsens better.

Today we had really great weather. First, we went to Aarhus. Aarhus is a great city with many old buildings, gigantic churches, and a beautiful harbor area. What I personally liked is the small canal that runs through part of the city. Numerous restaurants have settled along the canal, and sitting there is accordingly beautiful. We also had a very nice lunch here today.

After lunch, we decided to go to the beach so that Littlefoot could get some exercise. My goodness, we had to stop the little mouse. She ran up and down the beach like crazy. She kept wanting her ball and went into the water with it. As wet as she was, she naturally had to roll in the sand. Yes, the little one had a lot of fun. At some point, I wanted to relax on our blanket for a while, I was really exhausted from the drives. What I didn't notice was that Littlefoot was apparently digging behind my head, so that half a sandbox landed on my hair. Daniela had a laughing fit and said, you have a lot of sand on your head.... ha, ha, ha. I wanted to throw Littlefoot into the Baltic Sea as punishment, but I had no chance against her hooks that she strikes in the sand. That was just a joke, Littlefoot can do anything with us :-()!

We're back at our hotel now. Littlefoot is completely exhausted and dreaming in her basket. I've already washed my hair :-) Tomorrow we'll take a look at Horsens and then decide where to go next!
