Today we wanted to go kayaking on a glacier lake with icebergs. The booking and coordination turned out to be extremely difficult. After much back and forth, and also many unnecessary kilometers, it finally worked out. We had a truly unique experience, as we were alone on the lake with the guide under a cloudless blue sky and sunshine. The lake is somewhat remote and therefore sees very few visitors. It was a real highlight of our trip because we paddled the kayak right up to the ice, saw some cracks in the ice where the break points are for the collapses, as well as some ice caves.
