Isarfjoerdur

This morning we had blue skies and bright sunshine, but only 6 degrees and strong winds with gusts of storm strength. The sunshine decreased over the course of the day, the temperature only reached a maximum of 9 degrees, while the wind persisted. We traveled to Isarfjoerdur via Flateyri, Sudureyri, and Bolungarvik. We made only brief photo stops and visited turf houses. It was too cold and windy for other activities. At the campsite, somewhat sheltered from the wind about 200 meters from the waterfall, we were able to set up the tent.
