Today we hiked about 4 km to the Geysir. The Geysir has been dormant for over 100 years, but his brother, Strokkur, puts on a show every 8-10 minutes. It shoots water about 25 meters high. The whole area steams and bubbles. Unfortunately, this spot is completely commercialized, with mass tourism by bus, and the Geysir Center and Geysir Hotel are already larger than the actual attraction.
