Monterey Aquarium

On Tuesday (12.08.), we spent most of the day at the Monterey Aquarium. It was absolutely amazing, all the small and large sea creatures they exhibit! I adored the kelp forest and the jellyfish, so captivating. In the evening, we enjoyed a fantastic dinner in Carmel at a seafood restaurant, Flaherty's.

On Wednesday, we left Carmel for Santa Cruz. There, we met Brian's cousins Jeff and Donald, as well as his sister Ahmy for breakfast. We had a delightful morning together and then headed to the Santa Cruz Flow Trail, a renowned mountain biking trail. I dropped off Brian and Kirsten at the top of the trail, drove down, and relaxed until they came back nearly 3 hours later. Afterward, we drove into the night towards Sequoia National Park.
