We had gifted a trip.
At the beginning of the year, one of Sebb's godchildren had a birthday, and we decided this time to give not a physical item, but time. A day trip to Sunland Park.
The park was located, from our perspective, a bit behind Chemnitz and thus about an hour's drive away. So we booked a car share and of course we took the opportunity to try out an electric car, which we had never done before. At 8:30 in the morning, we picked up our rental car from the station, an hour later we picked up the child, and by 11 o'clock we were at the, on that day actually very sunny, Sunland Park.
We had read in advance on the homepage what attractions the park had to offer. There was a whole range of rides, most of them self-service, giant slides, rafts, tube slides, trampolines, a huge playground. Additionally, there were animal enclosures with deer, donkeys, goats, and sheep. So there was something for everyone.
Ines ensured that we were well supplied with food: sandwiches, eggs, fruit.
We actually spent the whole day in the park, had a blast on the tube slide, the wobbly bikes, with the deer, and the bumper boats.
When the park closed at 6 PM, we were all three happy and satisfied. The day had truly been worth it.
