After breakfast, we started the day in the pool at nearly 30 degrees.

We had selected various hiking destinations, but somehow the beautiful sunshine diminished our motivation to move around much today.

While Ines was doing exercises on her yoga mat next to the camper, Sebb took care of the car. A small damage on the plastic frame of the refrigerator needed to be glued. Then, of course, it was time for the obligatory checks of the coolant and engine oil. A few days ago, we had damaged the holder of the rear license plate while parking, and Sebb fixed that too, so that everything was securely in place.

He would have liked to take a look at the timing belt and brake pads, but after just 5,000 kilometers, it seemed unreasonable to remove the timing belt cover and then also disassemble the wheels. At 10,000 kilometers, it would have to happen, as well as checking the brake fluid container, which was hidden under the bolted spare tire. The long-starting issue of the engine that had been ongoing for days had not resolved itself. The glow plugs seemed to be fine; at least the one that was easily accessible had the same electrical resistance as the two spare parts. So far, Gary had always started again, but sometimes with a bit of delay and then white smoke.

So we limited ourselves to the solvable problems. The interior was thoroughly swept, all carpets were beaten out, and the cassette toilet was emptied. We then took the time to repair our battered picnic blanket with duct tape.

In the late afternoon, Gary's awning provided us with shade to play several rounds of Pandemic before heading back to the private pool for a swim before dinner.

Today, we cooked again; we made a classic, pasta, which we enjoyed while gazing at the neighboring sheep herd.
