When the sun rose today at 7:30 AM, it heralded a brilliantly bright, sunny morning.
After breakfast, Ines called home once again, while Sebb took care of the household chores.
In the late morning, we set out on foot towards the town. But just before we reached the bus stop, Ines realized it was still too early for an excursion today. After a brief, affectionate discussion, Sebb continued on the path alone, while Ines headed back to Gary.
Now, he had missed the bus and so Sebb walked along the country road. It was only two or three kilometers.
At the town entrance, Sebb took pictures for Ines. Then he searched for the shop where we had bought our cork hats many years ago. The headwear was noticeably worn after more than ten years and was due to be replaced in the coming days.
As soon as Ines was feeling better, a visit to the restaurant 'Monte do Mar' was planned. Sebb checked if the restaurant was still at exactly the same location we remembered. And it was, at least the exterior of the restaurant hadn't changed.
Sebb also visited other places from the past, the 'Quinta do Paraíso', the 'Minimercado' - which had since become part of a chain - he took a look at the restaurant 'O Branco' and the 'Praia do Paraiso' where we had often lounged on the beach.
Past 'Praia do Carvoeiro', he then walked back through the town to Ines and Gary.
Ines had by now laid out her yoga mat in the shade of the camper and had completed some back exercises.
Now, we took our siesta and had an audiobook playing again.
After a few rounds of our favorite game 'Pandemic', we cooked our dinner. We had mashed potatoes again, but this time with feta.
