Montenegro ... Day 10 "Stari Bar Old Town to Bojana Island"

Let's go to Stari Bar - Old Town, a truly beautiful and peaceful little place.

Here we start the day with a delicious traditional breakfast and a Turkish coffee.

We also climb former city walls here, this time it's those of Bar and we venture into the past.

A tip from our landlord takes us towards Bojana Island... a paradise of nudist culture. We briefly drive onto the island and enjoy the view over the Adriatic Sea and its long beaches.

We leave the island through a small bridge and have a view of the Bojana River. Small holiday homes and many small restaurants are located on both sides of the shore.

One stop is a must and coffee is always a good idea ☕️☺️.

With the now really warm temperature... it's about 31 degrees, we deserve a little refreshment and head to the "Ladies Beach" in Ulcinj. Yes, this stony beach is exclusively for women. It is said to have special healing effects due to a sulfur spring.

The day was beautiful and exhausting, and today we also enjoy the sunset in Old Town with a delicious glass of wine and a good meal.
