Day 8 - Karlsborg

08/12/2019. At noon, we drove to Karlsborg to visit the fortress 🏰. It is beautifully located on a peninsula on Lake Vättern. We had booked a German-speaking guided tour. The tour was quite different from what you usually experience. They tried to authentically recreate life during the construction of the castle. The tour is accompanied by cannon rolls and everyday sounds. The visitor is involved in the scenes. And suddenly we were in the middle of the 19th century. Very entertaining.

The entire peninsula of the castle is also very beautifully designed, so we stayed here for a while after the tour.
