Italy in Spring Part 6.4 Salerno

I stayed in Salerno for almost a whole week. I booked a B&B in Salerno Mercatello. With the local train/express train, it took me 10 minutes to get to the station in Salerno, the starting point for all my excursions to Pompeii, Vietri Sul Mare, Positano, and Amalfi. What was especially nice was that each day, with one exception, started with breakfast at the B&B, and above all, the incredibly warm and cheerful care from Graciella during this short time made it feel almost like family. In the few days here, my resting pulse decreased from mostly over 60 to 57. Beautiful days on the way and in the evening a drink on the beach and a lively conversation at breakfast. How wonderful that was!
