Italy in Spring Part 5 Pompeii

I was in Pompeii almost 28 years ago. Everything around and even at the entrance was different from what I remembered. Yet, much was the same. However, I did not recall that a vibrant city existed all around. In any case, following the advice of the bar owner at the train station, I visited the cathedral and found the archaeological site on foot. It still feels bizarre to walk through a city that has suddenly and forever become frozen in time.
