Florida Dream Tour Day 9

Farewell to our dream house with many tearful eyes. We had really settled in well here and could have stayed much, much longer, but the adventure beckoned— so off we went to the south of Florida with the Keys in our sights.

Our next stop was Naples, where we parted ways. Juli headed back to the beach, while I wanted to explore the botanical garden, and I did just that. I really enjoyed it, beautifully laid out with different thematic areas, very expansive, with many, many flowers, birds, and butterflies— all in all, definitely worth a visit.

After a few hours, Juli picked me up again, and then it was off for the obligatory milkshake before continuing to Miami Homestead for an overnight stay, as the distance to the Keys was too far for one stretch.

The motel there was, by the way, the only one during our stay that I can truly NOT recommend, and we were glad that we only had to spend one night there.

Insight of the day: Keep your eyes open when searching for hotels/motels!
