Florida Dream Tour

Florida dream trip with my daughter - an absolute highlight in November 2024!

We started in Hamburg, with a stopover in London-Heathrow (we found the best service with British Airways for intercontinental flights) and then landed in Miami in beautiful weather. The immigration formalities were quite pleasant thanks to a very friendly officer, as the gentleman seemed more preoccupied with staring at my daughter's cleavage than with our immigration, so we didn't have to give fingerprints and later weren't even sure if we were illegally in the States😂.

At the car rental station - we had pre-booked with Hertz, everything went quite quickly - and then off to the Florida adventure. That day we only drove to the hotel—La Quinta Inn by Windham—quite affordable, nice rooms, and for an airport hotel a very extensive breakfast - to then grab something to eat and wind down for the day. Tomorrow it really starts!!!
