THE EDGE

Like almost every day, not quite so early out, we had breakfast in our apartment and then headed towards the Subway. Today we wanted to go to The Edge, a very tall tower in New York with an observation deck, to get really high and take in the view of NY. Everything turned out as we had imagined. We zipped up in the fastest elevator in the world (at least that’s what it said) to the top. It was really fascinating up there, and you could look far over New York in every direction, truly fantastic and worth it. Very nice… Glass floors that you can walk on, with New York beneath you. Thankfully, it was not too thrilling, haha. Afterwards, we found a Spanish food court nearby where we had some truly fantastic tapas. Then we zipped back on the Subway towards Central Park. There we spent the day lying around and chilling. Unfortunately not for too long, as something small and inconspicuous bit me, and I eventually got quite a few bites. But since it was slowly getting dark, we headed back to the apartment. On the way back, we got something nice to eat and… Another day in New York has passed. Our last! Then we’re off to Las Vegas.
