Day 5: Decision Day

Hi there!

Today marked the last chapter on the topic of buying a house: The notary appointment.

It started with a breakfast by the Atlantic, which I have really come to love. But you already know that.

At 9:50 AM, my faithful Martin picked me up, and we went to the notary (Sergio) (who by the way will be my new golf club president and has a handicap of 2!!!).

It was all quite uneventful. Hermann and I signed the contracts, and that was it.

A small signature for me but a huge deal for my life.

Hermann, his wife, Segundo, Martin

In the end, Christian, the head of the real estate agency, gifted me 2 bottles of Malbec and a mate cup.

It couldn't have gone better.

Now that all the weight was off my shoulders, I could finally try out the SPA.

Really nice, it leaves nothing to be desired.

Women’s and men’s saunas are indeed separate.

That's how Catholics are. I can deal with it. After all, I am the immigrant.

At 6:00 PM, I head to Chapa to my house, which I now officially own.

Hermann is throwing a dinner party.

To the perfect home!

Lass es krachen bei der Dinnerparty. Ein wirklich großer Schritt für Dich. Erste Nacht in Chapa und dann am Heiligabend. Respekt. Die Gläubigen liegen Dir zu Füßen. Merry Christmas und Grüße aus Berlin

Ja, die Dinnerparty war natürlich der Knaller. Was für tolle Menschen es gibt. Erstaunlich. Morgen gibt es dann mehr.
