Tag 377 - Fort Myers

Hello dear ones!

Today we have less to report.

In the morning, we observed the two alligators in the lake near us, had breakfast, and got ready to continue our journey.

On the way, we made a stop at a Wal-Mart, as we urgently needed some groceries. We spent at least 1.5 hours in the store! It's unbelievable what they have here! Various children's bikes lined up, pink with silver ribbons on the handlebars - just like in the movies! Everything you need to survive in the wilderness, weapons including ammunition, clothes, and all sorts of household goods. We could hardly believe our eyes and examined everything closely.

Afterwards, we continued to Fort Myers.

We reached a really nice campsite right by the sea. We were served very kindly and received a discount for a spot in the front row. With the discount, we still paid USD 100, but we wanted to treat ourselves to this.

Today we were at the campsite by 3 PM, so a nice spot was worth it.

We unpacked our chairs, the table, and the bikes and comfortably sat by the sea.

Less than an hour passed when a dolphin appeared right next to us! In total, we counted two that swam around us and occasionally came up out of the water. It was a wonderful surprise!

We made hotdogs again, but this time with sausage-like frankfurters and enjoyed the evening in the RV (because of all the mosquitoes).
