Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve morning, and the energy is a bit back.

Lawa managed to walk past the pile of presents four times before I pointed out to her that Santa had been here. Not that she believes in him anymore, but we agreed to keep the magic alive. Even though she noted that many of the presents were from DIY, like the all-purpose store on the island.

Put on some Christmas music to get into the spirit and then down to the beach for some Christmas washing.

Mulle and I also managed a walk on the beach while Lawa had some TV time.

I think we might have been the first in the world to see the last episode of the Christmas calendar, just two minutes after it was released.

And sprucing up for the evening!

Once up at Malee, the scavenger hunt started immediately for the kids. Mom and Dad positioned themselves at the bar waiting for the kids to be set free. Lawa didn't want to see Kalle Anka, so she hung out with Alex to swim. They came down to see Santa handing out the presents, and then we had to hurry to make it to our Christmas dinner seating at 5 PM.

The food was very good, but what topped it all was when Bobbo came with a glass of Christmas soda for each of us. I mean, I understand that our taste buds were in heaven. Dad even got a shot!

This is probably the most expensive Christmas dinner of the century, but I would do it again!

When the kids had finished eating, it was full speed toward the playroom, and we moved down to the Stockholm group. I am desperately trying to explain to Mulle that it's with Stockholmers that we feel the best, but he seems to have become deaf to that!

We watched a fire show from their terrace, and then the bartending cleanup began. They are heading south, the whole group, tomorrow, so we got some bags with both wine and clothes to take to Children of the Forest.

It is an organization that supports children in northern Thailand, and together with many other entrepreneurs, Sanuk collects clothes and toys throughout the year. Then they come to Koh Lanta and spend a day with the students at the Swedish school and take everything collected with them.

We hung out on their terrace in a big group and tried to empty what we could. We all agreed that it was the hottest day of the year and that no one could believe it was Christmas Eve.

We decided it can't end here, we'll see each other again in Stockholm/Lomma♥️
