Thai boxing
Good morning world! Reading the news from Sweden, apparently traffic in Gothenburg is now even worse. Could that be it? It feels good to sit and pick fluff from the belly button...

Today is D Day!
Lawa can finally start school, which she has been longing for.
Morning assembly first where they will learn a bit of Thai and then the Sanuk song.
About thirty students from preschool to 9th grade. All together. So cozy.
We parents got some information about everything around the school, there are things happening for us as well, if we want.
I sneaked down to the beach today while they were there for fruit time and gymnastics, but she saw me and I was sooo embarrassing!
We started the day with a long walk on the beach, though separately since I am still taking it a bit easy with my knee. I trained in the pool instead for better relief.
Then we had breakfast at a new favorite, Sisters, just outside our place.
We got tips from the neighbor about a market, so we went there to buy shrimp, vegetables, and fruits. What I love most about this country, so much fresh and green. We found a favorite uncle just outside who we asked billions of questions about different mango varieties and dragon fruits. He had the patience of an angel and a wonderfully toothless smile.
I took a tuk-tuk home while Mulle also went to buy a proper Kiwi knife. Now it's time to cook!
Then I asked Mulle to run by Two Scoops to buy ice cream on the way home so we can make milkshake with all the delicious fruits. But he went there alone instead. Inside, my husband is licking an ice cream, and it turns out he is the first customer of the season as they just opened. Good signs 😀 The owner told that the raisins for the rum-raisin ice cream had been soaking in rum for several weeks and it was really good!
Time for some household chores too, a hell of a lot of laundry that needs to be done and it turned out that we didn't have a washing machine in the house like we thought. But there is a laundry across from us that also dries and folds our laundry. How good can it get!
After we picked up Lawa, we hung out on the terrace and I fell asleep nicely. Woke up last night from the worst monsoon rain at 3, so a bit sleepy today.
Mulle had a workday so I and Lawa hung out, managed to get some homework done and a bit extra English.
She also took her first own round in the area with strict instructions not to cross the road or go into the sea. But as the proper girl she is, there were no problems. She passed the school, and the teacher was still there so she chatted a bit. Then she went to 7/11 and bought an ice cream ❤️
Dinner consisted of shrimp sautéed in garlic and chili, heavenly delicious!
And as usual, an evening dip before bed.
