Crossing to Honiara - Sea Day

After visiting two islands of Vanuatu yesterday, we are now headed to Honiara, where we should arrive tomorrow around noon. Honiara is the capital of the Solomon Islands. As usual, there were various presentations about the upcoming island and the South Seas. We are excited, Honiara and large parts of the Solomon Islands are politically and security-wise not very stable. From time to time, there are unrests with many casualties, burned-down neighborhoods, etc. During World War II, Honiara was the site of a fierce battle between Japan and the USA.

Häsli and Mungg decided this morning to earn some money. They ventured on their own to the Guest Services and took calls. Now they are back a bit exhausted.
