Yokohama - Kobe Crossing, March 31, 2026

Our captain prefers to drive along unpaved backroads instead of the highway. This means it's pretty bumpy and shaky. However, we are doing well for now, but there are noticeably fewer people in the restaurants.

My cold is already improving. Tomorrow, it’s supposed to rain in Kobe, where we will stay overnight. This means we have to decide if we really want to take the train to Nara as planned or perhaps wait until the day after tomorrow. Nara was the first capital of Japan and has a park with somewhat tame wildlife, among other attractions. Let's see what we decide to do.
