Ferry crossing Kōbe - Hiroshima, April 3, 2026

Today the sea is completely calm, the sun is shining, and it is warm. We can even eat outside. Unfortunately, heavy rain is forecast for Hiroshima again. However, we will probably still go to the island of Miyajima.

The crossing is not only calm but also very beautiful; we occasionally pass close to islands and there are many other ships. What is also found in this sea is floating plastic waste. There are also small birds that like to visit a ship as a resting place.

Tonight is another 'formal night', which means there will be a big dinner in the main restaurant and people will dress nicely. Those who do not want to participate can eat in one of the other restaurants.
